Seasons Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Seasons

Rating: 5.0

The Summer.
A torrid shanty. Repugnant.
The prosaic wick, soon to extinguish the Sun as it erodes to a new season

A torrid shanty.
Springing forth. Thrifty, Surpassing.
An ordinance in bright colorful hue.
Marking the border with each drop of dew left behind.

Springing forth.
Trickling in preparation. Soon to birth
An ordinance in bright colorful hue.
Now asleep. Fall. Wilting away.

Trickling in preparation.
Retracting imperfection. Sloping in laziness.
Now Falling asleep. Wilting away.
Inactive in Winter's speck.

Retracting in imperfection.
The prosaic wick. Soon to extinguish.
Inactive in Winter's speck.
The Summer
