Seasonal Beauty Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Seasonal Beauty

All nature calls from early dawn
in England in the spring,
when tiny lambs, demure, are born
and choirs of children sing.

Such splendour shines in summer
emerald leaves adorn each tree;
sweet roses of all colours bloom
with imposing dignity.

Days are cooler in the Fall,
as late October comes to call.
God's wonderland of richest gold
covers meadow, heath and wold.

Handel's music gently echoes
across the lonely spacious moors,
winter lights sparkle and glisten
around the peaceful shores.

As years pass away, we must pray
to thank the stars above...
for we were born in England
and our hearts are filled with love.
