Searching. Poem by Leah Michelle Ellis

Something old and something new.
Random thoughts running through my mind.
All emotions a spew.
Loosing sight and loosing mind.
Getting nowhere fast and I'm running out of time.
Going so fast I'm dizzy.
Just trying to make my way in a world so busy.
Everything is so dark and weary.
Just trying to find someone to brighten up these days.
Someone to make it all worth it.
Someone to make me feel safe.
But I am on my own for now.
But that is okay.
I will find my light some other day.
