Sea Of Glass Poem by Rebekah O'Donley

Sea Of Glass

Where do I belong...
Without reason, without rhyme
Without love and without time
Without rest or a place to lay
Without poetry or words to say
Without holiness and without sin
Without water and without fins
Without wings and without flight
Without day and without night
Without hugs, without a kiss
Without a countenance, without out bliss
Without hope and without denial
Without Him and within belial
Without a promise to recite
Without the will and without the might
Without blood and without bone
Without the knowledge to postpone
Without a soul, without a beating heart
Without a fingertip, once apart
Without gold and without brass
Only left, is a rainbow caught, in a sea of glass
