Sea Of Faces Poem by Kathryn Thomas

Sea Of Faces

Rating: 4.5

My head is pounding
My face is drowning
In a sea of faces
That aren't my own
I'm disappearing
Someone save me
It's too late now
I'm gone forever
I'm among the same
Sea of Faces
My face matches now
We are all the same
I am struggling to be
Different than everyone else
I'm like a dropp of water
Stuck in the ocean
Pushed around by tides and currents
And crowded always
I'm never free
To experience the vast open spaces
That only the clouds get to experience
And crowd it for themselves
Now I'm back at the beginning
And I'm disappearing
In a sea of faces
That aren't my own
