Scrambled Up Helvellyn Poem by Lee Fones

Scrambled Up Helvellyn

As we went rambling
Over by Amble-side
First did some scrambling
Other side we took a slide

scrambled up Helvellyn
did the Lang-dale Pikes
met lovely lady Lynn
told us what she likes

she was a rock chick
iron maiden and that stuff
she then began to pick
the rocks that were tough

Lynn was a geologist
just like my best mate
i was a meteorologist
weathers not too great

then all of a sudden
weather it got worst
she re-did all her buttons
then we all dispersed
