O science, everywhere you shine;
In Earth, Moon, and Mars,
Your presence felt with marks,
Born and brought up in earth,
A priority is always dreamt up
In respect of your welfare and bringing up,
As you are the healthy, mighty,
And proud child of mother earth.

Talented and highly qualified you are;
Doctor, engineer, architect, builder and what not,
My words fail to praise you my dear,
You have made this earth,
A beautiful place to live in
And every home a heaven,
You invent solution,
For every problem that face
Mother earth and her children.

You are cute when you answer questions;
Like on butterfly, bird, octopus, lion,
As life cycle-metamorphosis, a flying vertebrate,
And story of three broken hearts and an acrostic poem,
Also on buds, cactus, solar eclipse and evaporation,
As a long winter's sleep, a plant you should not kiss,
And the sun is gone and it's quite a sensation!

In battle field, wicked, destructive and merciless,
And mischievous you are with your weapon,
So, good and bad as well you are in our opinion.
Despite all these, thinking man thinks,
Is science all powerful and existing alone?
Is she creating alone, going alone and cracking alone?
Defying all powerful and unseen hand,
Behind her success that goes beyond our perception......
