Schools Of Thought Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Schools Of Thought

The deep feelings we separately thought
And the knowledge we separately have
The groups we separately fought
And the ideas we separately have
The sides we differently belong
And the wishes we differently share
The routes we differently tarry along
And the hopes we differently care
The paths we individually take
And the dreams we individually carry
The hands we individually shake
And the aspirations we individually parry
The focuses we singly see
And the targets we singly aim
The points we singly as a tee
And results we singly intend to claim
The loves we otherwise pursue
And the affections we otherwise find
The romances we otherwise deem as a virtue
And the allusions we otherwise mind
They are our schools of thought
And our ways of expressions
They are cases we bought
And our senses of completions
