Scenario 3. An Orange Scene Poem by Marie Bliss

Scenario 3. An Orange Scene

Outside an orange light and
silence hums,
except for you
cast into a background of
history thick on the walls,
and kept alive,
metallic spider crawls in and
out of dimensions
on your silent landscape.
Time has slipped by
without me,
only I'm still here,
watching from
the energy rich sheets,
like a lonely time traveler,
witnessing the tragedy of
an etched in scene.

Again, so beautifully written, with deep, heartfelt words that describe something more than colors, more than orange wax, peeling from unused candles. Your words come close to breaking my heart.... Great Ink Marie. -Kelly.
