Scars Poem by Luna Black

Scars

The numbing screams
The nervous sweats
The heart races
The blood regrets

The hidden scars
Guilt built behind bars
Blame locked up in boxes
wrapped tight with a bow
stashed away, smile and go

The perfect recipe nears
for a secret full of tears

The voices play
The memories scream
They tell of truths, or lies
They explain the solution
and it is believed

pain tares through those bars
breaking the boxes
locks upon locks
pretty bows melt away
to hard to make them stay
the dark hides it all
the pain become dull

They pick up the weapon
Lay it down on the spot
cant see where it is
but its stared at now

They push it tight
pull it fast
let it bleed
feel the gash
