Scapegoat Poem by Oustine Hao

Scapegoat

I am the scapegoat
From a petting zoo
Would run in front if
They were to hurt you

To break in pieces
Sacrifice myself
If your life were to
Fall off the top shelf

Promise to be there
Catch you when you fall
Won't be able to
You don't tell at all

For I'm your scapegoat
Would do anything
Anything at all
To not hear death ring
