The sun is starting to set
The breeze starts blowing through her beautiful hair
She sits there with tears running down her face
I try to wipe them away but she pushes me away
The time we both knew was coming finally arrived
The day to say good bye
It felt like we were saying good bye to everything we ever had
Good bye to laughter, butterfly kisses, but most of all, the love we had for each other
The love that had created so many unforgettable memories
The look on her face sent tears down my face for the first time in over 3 years
She looks at me with her beautiful brown eyes and wipes them away
That is when I realized
Love is real
Love is the most amazing thing anyone could ever ask for
The hugs and kisses are over
I don’t have a choice now but to leave our love behind
Its time to begin a new life at college
I wish you could come but the time has come to say good bye
Good bye for now but hopefully not forever
Love never ends
