Say You Don'T Love Me Poem by Neela Nath Das

Say You Don'T Love Me

Rating: 5.0

Tell the truth, pierce me
with your innocence,
say you don't love me.
My bed isn't adorned
with the roses,
and you mock, ridicule
before the world
to prove me a dwarf,
a dwarf whose every action
is meant for cracking jokes.
My tedious ways
don't permit me to walk
anymore.....
I don't see wonder
in any work of god.
A peaceful place
away from all the
fun and frolic, call me.
I want to say adieu,
adieu to you,
before that say once,
you don't love me,
and all you said,
was false and mere fun.

Poignant poem with intense display of emotions, one for whom, outward appearance has more value than your internal summits, love is not their cup of tea.let them go....well presented.

It is not good to lead a person on and say that you love them. The person will believe with all their heart and soul. When they find out otherwise they are crushed beyond repair. A heartfelt write.

That's the bomb Hari, in more ways than one, well penned indeed, emphasis on indeed.
