Saved In Picture Frames Poem by Danielle Mari Nidea

Saved In Picture Frames

Rating: 4.5

Ice cream bells
washed out shells
Ripe, delicious food.
Wishing wells
Childish quarrels
Memories of childhood.

Running slow
High and low
Playing hide and seek.
Ready, go
Grassy meadow
Fun games every week.

Days go dry
Children cry
We don't want to sleep.
Dream to fly
Buko pie
Droopy in the jeep.

Puppet snake
Long swords (fake)
Role-playing games.
Cold fruit shake
Trips we take
Saved in picture frames.

Lonely face
No more race
Difficult college quiz.
Goodbye, brace
And those days
Days that I will miss.
