Saved Poem by Vanessa Brown

Saved

Rating: 2.3

Losing hope, i stumbled and fell,
Falling into the cravasse of desrepair;
Tumbling, twirling in the consuming dark,
As my beliefs teetered on the rocks.

But suddenly, your arms surrounded me,
Lifting me towards the blissful light,
The path of the kind and gentle souls,
Was once again at my feet.

Love and relief coursed through my soul,
Inexplicable emotion moved me;
Crying, crying with love for you,
And guilt for my doubting heart.

But my heart has been stirred, how can i doubt
The halo of beauty in my life?
The stars, the moon, the sun and the sea,
The rainbow, the mountain the snow.

Loving families, my perfect friends;
You've blessed me with all of these things!
You shelter me when i need you the most,
And i love you with all of my heart.
