Save It For A Life That Cares Poem by Emma Woods

Save It For A Life That Cares

We tried it twice but I don't know why
I fell for you a second time
I missed yu once - got bored again
But it wasn't me who felt the pain
Said things made sense when I was with you
And promised me that you'd always be true
I missed you less and fell out of lust
But I never knew you cared that much
You made me angry at the slightest thing
I'm still so glad it was just a fling
You write your poems of me and you
How I never loved you - yes that's true
You were my first male kiss - a kiss too bad
A kiss like my first - clearly you've never had
Yes I b**ch and slag you off
And if you weren't so I wouldn't give a toss
Don't you think I have the right to press on the way I do?
Do you think it's worth the fight knowing I never will love you?
Get your head out your a**e and open up your eyes
See it's me you're talking to and nothing can disguise
Get your nose out the clouds - be the way that you were
Don't act like a sod and I won't treat you like dirt
Somewhereelse - take your heart - did I succeed to twist
Stay away from these hands you've tried to resist
Stay away from my face - keep your feet both in line
To change all your ways - you've had too much time
I'm single and free - not tied down to a post
I'll flirt when I want and I'll tease at the most
You know I'm the person who gets what I choose
Not ones of sheer boredom from every pore do they ooze
I know that there's better inside that white skin
Stop thinking of yourself and maybe people will let you in
If you're gonna die go do it instead of talking about it to me - I care but you depress me - Save it for a life that cares - you're wasting your time -
