Santa Monica Poem by Randy Briggs

Santa Monica

Golden California
Rays &
People laughing,
Having a good time.
Protests-
No Olympics in China!
Human rights,
Free Tibet!
A walk on
The pier
Dissipates
All troubles.
And into the
Music,
Guitars and
Pianos,
A collage of
Good times,
Ferris wheel
Submerges into
The wood,
Roaming the city,
No signs of loneliness,
Except for the one
Who just got out
Of jail asking for a
Cigarette on
Ocean & Colorado
One quarter,
No profit.
$20 alcohol
No forgiveness.
