Sanctity Of Life Poem by shokat ali habib

Sanctity Of Life

My brother heaved in hunger and ceased into numbness
God is good but where is right to righteous life/ to be

to be born is a right to life loving light
is wanting to breathe bear and breed so hard

have searched and sought to strive to serene
turned away teachings of the tortured times

my baby / her being frozen on my bare breast
here the bullet bite into my baby's brain

laughing lotus lies low in the heart of peace
serenity so fused in the song of the soul

powerful peace as in the passion of sublimation
no closure for the devastated demon of destruction

no dark deeds to shroud the starving souls
to be most humble/ to be highest in heaven

laughing lotus sarenades in the silent soul
still baby bullet bitten frozen to the breast

indicts men of hate to hell and demons harlem
sanctity of life silenced into a sad silent song

tears of a mother beseeches the baby to suckle
hush my baby suckle and survive/ hush my baby

a strange gun from sans sanity split her into splinters
gun fired froze the sweet song into hush hush my..........

homo sapiens danced in songs/souls sailed silently
into peace/ the mother and frozen child freed fell

the soft breeze sings softly silently hush hush my baby
sends twined souls into peace of peaceful light/hush
