Last bastion against engulfing dark
Fierce shadows from the mind
Eclipsing love's final glimmer.

Lovers blinded in their ruin
Broken fierce with each circle's spin
Cradled without mercy
Hearing a martyr's dying cry
Spiraling from the center of God's rage.
