Sampan Poem by spiritual seeker

Sampan

Rating: 5.0

In this journey of life,
Each their own way…
Some on a luxury liner,
Me…I am paddling in a small leaky sampan,
for each stroke I struggle,
I learn the way,
Steering away from rocks.
This experience…
Makes me a wiser traveller.

Sampan*...a small wooden malay boat

A beautiful attitude towards life. 'always look at the bright side of life' So true, my Sufi brother. Makes me think of the roti at the road side warung we used to enjoy together. That roti was often among the best meals in the week.
