Same Person Different Bodies Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Same Person Different Bodies

Rating: 2.7

'Oh love...! '

we both say
at the same time

&
laugh.

Seems we
even synchronise
our talk.

Always this
same saying

or one
begins...

and other ends...

- the sentence

: or vice versa.

Even
in conversation

to the annoyance or
amusement of our friends

we talk
in tandem

or as one

as if the one
were the other.

Same person
different bodies.

Or
else

we say
nothing

just hold hands
& listen

to the silence

& what it is

...saying.

Oh, AYE, the Blending has taken place here....HOW BECOMING it is, and how well the story is told! As always, you know just what it takes to make the blend of love and personality take place....
