A series of experiences life is.
For himself the experiencer ekes out
Pleasure or pain
Joy or sorrow
Failure or success.
But same is the world.

For each individual
Different visions are unfurled.

To a scientist
The world appears as a finalist
Of magnificent phenomena

To a village peasant
The world appears to grant
Just the plants.
But same is the world.

To a poet
The world is of beauty extravagant
Which fills his heart with ecstatic joy
And poems pour forth.

To a pessimist
The world is covered by a tragic mist
And he on misfortunes ever harps on.
But same is the world.

To a business man
The world appears to be a corporate plan
Of trading opportunities.

To a politician
The world appears to be a place for position
To eke out money.
But same is the world.
