Sam Nobel Museum Poem by Marilyn Lott

Sam Nobel Museum

We visited the Sam Nobel museum
What a wonderful place to go
Statues of so many things
Depicting life from long ago

It’s in Norman, Oklahoma
Where we took our little tour
Climbed aboard our trusty bus
A cherished vehicle we all adore

It’s a beautiful museum
The architecture is impressive
Oh, you should see the Buffalo
It is perfectly carved and massive

A statue of a young hunter
With a spear raised in his hand
Because he fished the river
Fed his family from the fertile land

An early day scene is staged
With trees and a river and such
You feel as though you are there
We enjoyed it very much

If you ever get a chance, folks
During your trips this summer season
Go to Norman, Oklahoma
And tour the Sam Nobel museum!
