Salvation’s Lamp

World sin has reached a shameful height
She’s Satan’s slave to lies
Rejecting God, life’s guiding Light
Whilst in her filth she dies

Bound tight within the darkest jail
In fetters stout and strong
As Satan’s whore, she’ll always fail
To sing Salvation’s song

But who can tell her of her plight?
What deed can make her see?
Who can convey Salvation’s Light?
To set her children free

The word of God reveals so well –Isa.60: 1-
When free from wayward sin
We too can save a child from hell
Through Jesus’ Lamp within

God’s Holy Lamp reveals unseen
His word makes free our soul
His Flame will purge what’s still unclean
And hinders from our goal

For man born once, has twice to die –Rev.20: 6
So is The Lord’s decree –Gen.3: 19
But who born twice through Christ on high –Jn.11: 26
Die once no grave to see –Rev.21: 8

Who yet today is not reborn
Who’s drunk on Satan’s wine
Allow the Light of Jesus’ dawn
Within your life to shine

Allow the world to see the glow
Allow God’s Son to reign
Allow His awesome power flow
Until He comes again
