Saltwater Sunset Poem by Theo Townend

Saltwater Sunset

The waves crash on the shore
The countless grains of sand.
The day near end,
The sun reddens
The ocean like a mirror
As it shows the suns reflection.

The smell of saltwater in the air
Carried by the breeze.
The sun lowers,
The colors darkening as it goes.

The sky ignited!
A wondrous display of orange, yellow, and red.
The sun now begun its slumber,
The end of the saltwater sunset.
