Salt of the Earth

I love you USA
not for the government
bot houses White, Angled…or Senate.

I love you, though random
for miners, escapees, runaways
THE REBELS.

in the lines above said
with fighters like Malcolm
and Ali, Luther King
all the way to Douglas and so on
all colours, backgrounds
include Europe’s white
and many…husband-wife, parent-child
ignoring race, gender
just because of one aim:
“WE ARE ALL EQUAL; FREEDOM.”
