Sajak Meditasi: Di Dalam Kemerdekaan Bunga (Indonesian)

~ Inspirasi dari wafatnya Dr. The Kian Wie (Ekonom)

Merdeka dalam kuncup bunga
Kelopak yang disinari matahari
Keindahan yang tak akan sirna
Kefanaan yang diabadikan
Kenangan yang membekas
Kenangan akan kelopak tangis dan tawa
Meskikah sirna hanya karena embun pergi?
Rumputan basah kembali kering
Rumputan yang senang diinjak sepatumu
Tangan yang bersedekap
Jalanan yang lengang
Kegairahan yang tidak pernah beranjak pergi
Doa-doa yang dilantunkan penuh hikmat
Doa-doa yang dilantunkan penuh cinta
Kecintaan yang melekat erat
Kecintaan membawakan bunga
Memberikan bunga dengan cinta
Bunga akan layu tak mengapa
Harumnya akan berganti wangi abadi
Mahkota yang diberikan oleh pagi
Mahkota yang dipakai sampai malam hari
Malam dengan bulan disusul oleh embun
Bunga-bunga pelan-pelan akan mekar
Bunga-bunga dalam pelukan kematian
Bunga-bunga yang mengisyaratkan cinta
Dan pagi bersedekap dalam hikmat
Cinta kekal dan abadi

poet Ralph Waldo Emerson

Knows he who tills this lonely field
To reap its scanty corn,
What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?

In the long sunny afternoon,
