Sacrilege Poem by Abdul Wahab

Sacrilege

Somewhere here I put what I did not get
Pressing by my thumb under the roof of the wind
Tying them tight in handkerchief with the golden thread
Could you remember my fate?
Being a bit forgetful I faintly remember
I put them here somewhere
In the long and holy pocket of a white cloud
In the squire box of honest light
In between the layers of suspended waves
After searching long
At last I find them out
And they are all now at my tight fist
Yet a sense of fear always creeps in
And I crawl inside from the fear of losing something valuable
In the war against the unknown darkness
Though I know clearly
Full awareness of this uncertain life not possible
Yet I am killing myself with the overdose of ignorance
Oh! Light bring me some courage of knowledge and awareness
I want to live few more years in piece without the sacrilege of fear and doubt.
