Sacred Moments Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sacred Moments

Shadows walking around me, taunting, teasing, trying to make me come out of my safe place.
It just won't happen, because I'm perfectly content exactly where I am interiorly.
Sacred moments keeping me aware of where I want to be, sending prayers my way.
Their candles cannot stay lit, because I'm already on the way out of life's circumferences.
At last a feeling of elation, glad to be leaving and going home.
