Sachin-The Ball Fears You Poem by Rahul Singh Rana

Sachin-The Ball Fears You

Rating: 5.0

As I was leaving
Spinning away
From the hands of a bowler,
I saw in fear
The greatest batsman waiting for me
How far will I be hit?
Will he spare me for a four?
Or will I again cross the stands?
Questions were hovering
In my mind
As
Sachin was waiting
To break my stride.
A second more
And I will be hit high,
In this fear,
I am losing sight.
The batsman of the century
The God of cricket,
In front of my eyes,
Sometimes I think
Why am I a ball?
I am born to touch Sachin’s bat
I am born to fly high!
