Ryme 'Or' Reason Poem by Elizabeth Mallows

Ryme 'Or' Reason

I rest myself in a tape room
With love you couldn't understand
There's no drum beat to speak of
But only love
They feed me gourmet food
Understanding and caring too
The heat outside is getting hotter by the moment
This is gonna' be the hottest summer on record
I pray not for Floridians sake
Stay out of the sun so you don't bake
'Celebrate Life'
If it's made in America
you have no strife
'Amen'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I see a man named Robert E Tansey, III almost everyday. He has many interesting stories about his life with Richard Pryor. Anyway, he is now living in his car and asked me to stick this online, would you please. So I have done my good deed of the day!
