Rush Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Rush

The water fell torentially,
On my body so clean.
I couldn't even stand straight,
I had to try and lean.

Mobilizing my body now,
It was impossible still,
To stand up till,
My body stood up right.

The gush of azure and white,
This water glowed so bright.
This water fell so hard,
That the gushing,
Was more like pushing.

It fell from a high precipice,
It's elector-power so high.

This tall and powerful waterfall,
Was so strong.
It provided a rush,
For the water to push.

As I leaned back and enjoyed it.
