Running Scared

I'm running as fast as I can
From the demons chasing me
Threats to pull me to the ground
And suffocate me into darkness
I glance back, they are closing in
I can almost feel their breath on my neck
Overpowered I feel like a small child
A sense of doom turns me cold
I run as though my life depends on it
