Running - Poem by Emma Litchfield

Im running into blackness
Im running into light
Running, Running, Running
My legs ache
My lungs are sore
The cold whips me with its power
Faster, Faster, Faster
I cant feel my lungs
My legs are on fire
Running, Running, Running
Through deserts, Through storms
Through forest, and more
Faster, Faster, Faster

I see this as a metaphor for life. On a more literal level, as a long distance runner, I can associate closely with the words. (Report) Reply
