Run To Higher Ground
I am sitting by bridge
looking at sandy edges
extended beyond my sight
become wider towards sea
when does sea claims this,
this shore am standing on
maybe soon, it will come
I can see not far from me
river stop flowing, amazing
few years ago; goes very far
maybe water is rising slowly
very few seem to care; notice
rain results to harsh flooding
flow can't push fast enough
