Run Between The Rain Drops Poem by Kelly Persinger

Run Between The Rain Drops

I see the lightning now
I hear the thunder roar
And I know it's all coming soon

I see the black clouds overhead
And I feel the cold rain pouring down
I know it's all falling apart

So I run between the rain drops
And I miss each one I can
'Cause I'm already soaked and I know
One more rain dropp might take me to the end

I feel the rush of the wind
It's so rough and strong once more
I'm to tired to care anymore
But I'm not going back again.

That's why I'm running between the rain drops
And I missing each one I can
'Cause I'm already soaked, and I know
That one more rain dropp could take me down again.
