Rumours Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Rumours

Rating: 5.0

My maturity, my will, my old-age, my life, my strength, my mind;
Why do you go away at this time of my life? !
For, i am an earnest man with an address of love;
And like the deep blue sea with the blues of life.
I have the breathing order from the muse of my land to share,
And like sitting here alone on a mat waiting for you;
For the rhythmic order of the blues is from my race,
And like the chronicles of our deeds on this earth.
This way of life and my dreams,
This way of life and my drawings,
This way of life and my ideas,
This way of life and my writings,
This way of life and my paintings,
This way of life and my teachings,
But, where do i go from here?
And like the spell-bind muse of love with the sumptuous act to share;
However, rumours are rumours and, you can't do much about it.
