Rules Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Rules

Are rules to be broken?
It seems not so.
But underneath it all,
It's meaning below.

Is far from reaching,
At the truth.
When rules are corrupt themselves,
They need to be broken yes.

I grew up in an era,
Where many rules were broken,
But we were the truth seeking.
Yes we broke rules.
