Ruins Of Rome Poem by Adams King

Ruins Of Rome

Rating: 3.0

Blind this eyes from it's fateful end
With laughter let's welcome our foe
Hard to watch the death of friends
And stay unshaken by the coming woe
Whose heart remain still to danger
Let him be called no human but stone
For we watch the swelling rage and anger
The ruins that rummage the city of Rome

Engulfed in the dark clouds of fear
Where brave heavens do weep
I traded my strength to purchase tears
Let us all the isolated moment keep
Everyman to his proper hygiene
Make precautions his new companion
I pray the heavens secure our seeds
Till we sit to drink a fresh communion

Let us all be hidden consumed by our fear
For if Caesar had feared Caesar would live
In prayers let us all show our love and care
Till our heavenly comfort be received
Let's be scared to die and be bold to live
With a charitable guidance keep our own
Surely the sun will rise again I believe
To brighten the saddened faces of Rome
