Ruined Poem by Luca Menin

Ruined

Slaves in this world
To Avarice and pleasure
We grow old
With grey colours
The work of idleness
Animals slaughtered
Precious leather
Mountain peaks
Diamond Rivers
Reefs of the seabed
The forests, the fields
Changing into concrete and steel
all ruined
