Rudolph Up In Lights Poem by Marilyn Lott

Rudolph Up In Lights

Once again my friend it’s Christmas
And the holiday’s up in lights
I think we all enjoy ourselves
Taking in the Christmas sights

And there he is front and center
It’s Rudolph that I mean
His twinkling nose a’shinin’
Part of the Christmas scheme

He does help Santa see, you know
That’s a story that’s been told
For the old man does needs help
After all, he’s gettin’ mighty old

You know how the weather is
In the winter time of year
Raining, snowing or foggy
The old man can’t see or hear

So Rudolph has been such help
To guide this old man around
On Christmas night I’ve noticed
A tinkling kind of sound

So let’s take time out to praise
A little reindeer that works so hard
To bring toys to little boys and girls
And decorates house and yard!
