Ruby Poem by David Bisacca

Ruby

Found her abandoned and all alone
Had to pick her up and take her home
Plan was to take her to the pound at the start
But invisibly she worked her way into my heart
Little gift of poop she left for me
Right there under the christmas tree
A few plans that she must go
To unfold these were too slow
Plans faded to take her to the pound
As my love for her grew profound
Now i will never forget that rocky start
Of the little girl who stole my heart...
