Rubbish Poem by Claire Galpin

Rubbish

Old tin cans, pots and pans,
Rubbish in the dustbins, boxes and bags,
Rubbish in the gardens,
Rubbish in the streets,
Toffee papers by the shops,
Dustbin lorries carry a lot.

Sticky ones, messy ones,
Dirty ones, wet ones,
Baked bean tins all banged to bits,
Peanut butter, nougat blocks.

Bikes in pieces, pushed in sewers,
Bells and wheels, no use for users,
Handlebars, bumper-bars bumped and banged,
Rusty old chain from prams.
