Rotten lullaby

  You, soft-

Spoken word
by word
by inch
-ing toward the door,
Swallowed-in skin;

Yours, soft
Against this breast of fire-
Hopelessly
Didactic

When will the other toes
Smash into the ground, I mean-
How
sweet
does even chocolate have to be
Before it rots the tooth?

You, -r eyes
Staring so far
back-

I can't see the clouds any more.
Softer now...
