' Roses ' Poem by Marvin Brato Sr

' Roses '

Today I walk around
saw dying flowers abound
rains in summer seldom come
makes the ground dry and boredom

Instinct drives my interest
to regrow flowers at its best
with shovel and water I start
to replant the roses with heart

Soon enough after months passed
radiant shoots of lovely flowers surface
as those withered red roses come to bloom
bring smile to all hearts that feel gloom
