Rose Of Ice Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Rose Of Ice

Crimson petals, too brittle,
Embrace collectively
Pretending that closeness is warmth,
Frozen in false joy.

Scarlet stains, too fragile,
Vanish slowly
Tarnishing that showcase of boldness,
Ebbing away a pretense of strength.

Ruby droplets, too delicate,
Dissipate mournfully
Protecting faded wounds no more,
Exposing icy cracks.

Bloody rose, too frail,
Strengthens steadily
Pain giving way to beauty
On these translucent frozen tears.
