Roots Of Evil Poem by Jillian Cameron

Roots Of Evil

If jealousy and hate could hide,
And stop humility’s endless suffer,
And through green eyes love could bide,
Remain through the patches rougher.
If hope and faith would still abound,
To ease the misery from the pain,
If selfish hearts would no longer surround,
Would the love still remain.
If we could wash away all the evil,
Would there be a clean that had confide?
And would be there to support the people,
As they tried to humble their pride.
