Rome Kids Poem by Paul G. Kallen

Rome Kids

Rating: 2.8

Based on Marilyn Friday’s OBE

Three little boys were riding bicycles in Rome
When I was leaving for a while my dear home.
I live five thousand miles away from the Coliseum.
Why not to cross the sea and visit the museum?

A touching thought flew through my astral mind:
What if the boys’ world were of the same kind?
My soul could pierce the space as swift as thought —
In Rome I wasn’t being stopped by the guards’ swords.

My faculty of speech was lost at such a sight
As I soared high above the Coliseum’s height.
The boys were cycling then around its magic wall;
I wished to play a trick that looked not like a gall.

I poked the last one with my gentle weightless hand
Experimenting on his sense of spirits in his land.
He turned his head in the immediate response
As if the spirit’s hand was made of heavy bronze.

Hurrah! The Rome kids did feel the ghosts in travel.
I was so happy that they were accomplished to that level.

I have always been interested in the esoteric aspects of life. I like the testing of the boys. One has to be creative to gain feedback from this universe. These words are very special: My soul could pierce the space as swift as thought..
