Romanian mothers,
Teenage mothers,
How to pity you,
Mercy you?

A girl you yourself
With a baby
Into the hands of yours,
Romanian teenage mother?

Your pity human or godly,
Your fall, who plotted it,
Who conspired against,
Whose lapse of judgement is it,
Which but I don't know?

Romanian unwed mother,
It is not your mistake,
But the situations of life
Brought you here,
Romanian teenage mother!
