Serendipity Blessings From Roman Fountains Gushing

Romans long past left heritage fountains
carved from worked stone cast in bronze
Romans eyes longed for delight from waters
mastered worked to achieve graze of swans
cast bronze fountain was mating of copper tin
perpetual endless never interrupted water within
childlike delights minds wet pleasure gushed in
water without flaw refreshes leaves our soul clean

water flows leaps dances delight defies cell gravity
water rushes into air falls to fill fountain bowl cavity
water shapes springs into air in youthful spontaneity
water reflects impulsive impulses flexible personality
water encapsulates an identity date with enticing eternity
water refreshes embodies good fortune curious serendipity

    Water Flows From Fountains Gushes

    water flows through pipes
    hidden from fountains gushes
    with released life pressures
    forced up through air gravity
defying until point of still stall
    gravity hung for momentary
    fleeting split frozen moments
    before arching back ground fall

    fascinating is interaction
    between the cast fountain
    flowing gasps of gushing
    water in penetrated air stilled
    in summer warm air tickling
in winter cold chill air soaking

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
